Beacon Rock Mission
For anyone looking for more than just a hike or a simple boat ride weekend adventure Commando Tours offers The Beacon Rock Mission.
We combine a Columbia River excursion with a guided hike through a forest that peaks literally on the top of a rock! Arrive in style by boat at the second largest rock in the world and climb to the top for a view you have to experience to believe. You will conquer your fears and build confidence in your self and your abilities.
This tour leaves Rooster Rock State Park in Oregon by boat and goes up the Columbia River to Beacon Rock State Park Washington with island stops along the way if you feel like exploring. You’ll encounter birds of prey and marine mammals before making a beach or dockside landing. From there you will hike through a forest to the Beacon Rock trail head and begin the hike to the summit of Beacon Rock with its 52 switchbacks and panoramic views. Cameras and a bottle of water are a good idea for this tour.
Cost for this mission starts is estimated at $200.00 per person and lasts most of a day.
Book a boat for a private mission for only $800.00 and make the rules up as you go.
This is a great team building exercise for families and businesses and a good starting point for future missions with Commando Tours.
